The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education
The Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) is Kentucky’s higher education coordinating agency committed to strengthening our workforce, economy and quality of life. We do this by guiding the continuous improvement and efficient operation of a high-quality, diverse, innovative, accessible and affordable system of postsecondary education.
Meaningful
Transformation
For Student Success
Strengthening our workforce, economy and quality of life.
To accelerate meaningful transformation around student success, the CPE launched the Kentucky Student Success Collaborative (KYSSC) a first-of-its-kind statewide program supporting greater degree completion and successful transition into early career attainment. The KYSSC will work with stakeholders to advance a strategic action plan building on the state’s strategic agenda and 60×30 goal.
What Institution Types Do We Serve?
The KYSSC is the first statewide center in the country that serves both two- and four-year institutions while linking to the business community and state policy makers. The work of the Collaborative will make Kentucky a national leader in creating innovative ways to support student success efforts across the state.
