Kentucky Leadership exChange Application

Building capacity for change among Kentucky’s student success champions.

The Kentucky Student Success Collaborative is accepting applications from faculty, staff, and administrators to participate in the new Leadership exChange program, a year-long cohort-based professional development opportunity for Kentucky’s student success champions. The KYSSC will work with national organizations to provide workshops and trainings to effectively lead transformational change, student-centered innovation, and continuous improvement at an institutional level. Session content will feature guest speakers, case studies, peer learning and a capstone project.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience leading institutional teams and cross-functional groups toward a common goal and should currently be employed by a Kentucky public university, the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, or an AIKCU institution. Applicants will be asked to provide a letter of support for participation from a Vice President or President at your institution.

We request a letter of support from a Vice President or the President at your employing institution affirming their support of your participation in the Leadership exChange program with the intention to leverage the skills you gain through the program to lead institution-wide initiatives in support of student success. By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I am committed to attending at least 5 out of the 6 scheduled sessions of the course. If I am unable to attend a session, I understand that I can make up for it by reviewing the session recording and corresponding materials in the Impact exChange and meet with a member of KYSSC to address any questions I may have. I am also aware that certificates will be awarded to participants who attend a minimum of 5 out of the 6 sessions and successfully complete the capstone project.
